The plate, bridges and cocks are now made of rhodium-plated brass – the proven standard of classic watchmaking. Arcap, which was used in the first edition, is non-magnetic but sensitive to scratches. Rhodium, on the other hand, is up to five times harder and gives the surface a noble, resistant calm – an advantage that remains visible even after decades.<\/p>\n
